Meet Geordine “Geordie” De Lisen, the founder of Copper Coast Chef.
With more than 30 years’ experience as a professional chef, Geordie has worked across the hospitality industry around Australia, building a broad skill set and a deep respect for honest, flavour-driven food.
Her love of cooking began young in Melbourne, inspired by her late father through their time spent exploring local soul eateries and cooking together at home. That early connection to food, family, and community remains at the heart of everything she creates.
Geordie’s strong passion and dedication to her craft opened doors to work alongside and under truly inspiring chefs, where she developed a combination of refined technique, practical kitchen leadership, and a style that blends comfort, creativity, and quality ingredients.
What started as a passion-led offering has grown into a trusted local business with an expanding customer base and a clear focus on meeting people where they’re at.
Over time, Copper Coast Chef has broadened its product ranges to accommodate a wide variety of clientele introducing healthier, balanced meal options, fresh grab-and-go food, and flexible catering solutions designed for busy families, workplaces, and community groups.

Beyond the kitchen, Geordie is passionate about empowering others through food. She runs cooking classes for a diverse range of kids and adults, including NDIS participants, supporting people to build real-life skills, confidence, and greater independence at home while creating an enjoyable, inclusive experience along the way.
